This is life!!

This is life! Selama ini aku bagaikan sudah lupa macam mane hendak enjoy life. Maklumlah, waktu tu anak empat, masih kecil dan tugas sebagai guru ini tidak memberiku ruang untuk bersantai. Kalau dulu ada maid tu lainlah. Itu pun aku tak tahu nak enjoy life. Asyik kerja saja. All my life i put into my family and work. Bila dah pergi DDM course ni, punyalah rileks. Ya, adalah assignment, buku nak baca, etc tetapi life is not as stressful. This week kita ada e-learning. Meaning, we are not required to go to campus but just use the internet to view course material and discussion using the online portal. Yesterday, my friend, Jameela invite I and Juraida, datang ke condominiumnya to do e-learning together. It was heaven. When we arrived, we change into our swimming gear. We went for sauna. (first timelah. See what I miss in life!)Then we went into the jacuzzi pool. There was no one there. We had the pool to ourselves. After that we went for a swim. Buat 2 laps aje dah termengah-mengah. Tak ada stamina lansung. But it was a good swim though. Habis tu, naik atas and we had our lunch. All the maid dah siapkan. It was a simple lunch but the simplicity makes everything feels so cool and right. I felt like having a vacation. (maklumlah tak ada budak-budak yang kacau). When we finally sit down to do our e-learning, everyone was so relax until nak buat kerja pun macam malas. But we manage to do something about our assignment and journals. Before we went back, we were served with piping hot popiah and homemade sauce. Jameela buatkan kita teh tarik. Yummy. I went home in the afternoon feeling totally refresh. This has been a nice week for me. The good thing is that, my friends would like to make this into a weekly affair! Great!

I also manage to do some departmental work which need my attention. Kasihan Cikgu Munirah covering my duties in school. Although we are encouraged to forget about school work, it cannot be done 100%. Tak apalah Cikgu Munirah, pasti akan dapat ganjaran yang setimpal. Insyaallah.

On Friday will be going to the Esplanade for one of my Industrial visit. Going with my group to see what others might not have the opportunity to see. Will share in my next post.

It is easier to know what I don't want. It is much harder to know what I do want.

The more you see how you generate your own noise, the more you can be open to silence. If you can develop your silence, you see more clearly where you are - its like having your windows cleaned.

Whenever we touch life, we shape it. We shape it with warm and caring or with our coldness and haste, desire for power and money, desire for good rather than the GOOD. The power to heal and he healed is built into the body into our clay body.
Its never too late to be ready.
To be whole doesn't mean we have to be perfect.
As we become older, art and life become the same thing.
We dont have to be centred all at once.
We can centre along the way.

Simplicity is making the journey of this life with just baggage enough.
Leaving stuff out allows me the possibility of putting stuff in.
Silence is the method of getting to spirit.
Old hunger for acceptance.

I want to feel I'm in my life - not traveling around looking for it.
To be idle, to be in time, to have time .
I don't have to justify my existence.
Love itself it on trial in a long marriage. with each physical loss, with each dependence on the other , parteners are tested to the limit. Can we love when we are so different physically from the time we fell in love? Can we survive the X-ray intimacy? Intimacy exposes our defects, the habits we don't like, the infuriating differences in opinion. We must stretch to accept our partner's limitations, put them into the larger context of the person's whole being, family history, genetic endowment - see their essential humanness. And then maybe our loved ones can forgive us for not being perfect, either. In real life we often do not see each others as our mirrors see us.
Leave room for the unexpected.
Everyone is worth honoring
I gave myself permission to do what I could do - whatever it was - and accept that as success. No judgement. No blame.
Total acceptance of any outcome was a new way for me to meet a challenge

Hidup ini bagai roda. Adakalanya kita di atas dan adakalanya kita di bawah.

Duit tidak semestinya membawa kebahagiaan tetapi duit boleh membahagiakan manusia.

Kematian pasti akan datang, namun kematian bukanlah satu pengakhiran.

Kata orang, dunia ini hanya pinjaman. Setelah kita kembalikannya, di mana destinasi kita seterusnya?Di mana tempat kita?

Seseorang yang berprinsip itu lebih baik daripada orang yang tiada prinsip. Prinsip menjadi tunjang segala pemikiran, perasaan dan tidak tanduk seseorang. Orang yang tiada prinsip tiada pemikiran, perasaan yang tersendiri dan tindak-tanduknya selalu ditentukan oleh orang lain.

Ujian-ujian hidup menjadikan kita insan yang tabah. Usah mengeluh, usah marah, usah putus asa. Manusia diciptakan untuk menghadapi ujian-ujian ini. Manusia memang telah disiapkan mekanisme untuk mengatasinya. Hadapilah dengan hati yang tenang dan senyuman keyakinan.

Yang lama itu tidak semestinya buruk dan yang baru itu tidak semestinya baik. Yang lama itu tidak semestinya selama-lamanya buruk dan yang baru itu tidak semestinya selalu baik. Kematangan memilih yang mana baik dan buruk bukan datang dengan sendirinya melainkan kita belajar dari setiap kesilapan diri sendiri atau orang lain. Itulah pengalaman. Pengalaman itu bukan apa yang terjadi kepada kita tetapi apa yang kita lakukan dengan apa yang terjadi kepada kita.

Biar buruk rupa jangan buruk perangai. Adab dan sopan membezakan kita dengan binatang. Jangan ikut peredaran zaman, manusia ikut adab binatang, binatang pula dah pandai bersopan.
